1. Connect your FLEX device to your phone
2. Load the barbell
3. Attach FLEX to the barbell
4. Place the mat underneath (reflective side facing up)
5. From the Main navigation screen tap the TRAIN button
You can type the exercise name into the search field. Exercises will appear in order of popularity (to your account)
7. Set the bar weight by tapping on the 0kg icon in the centre of the screen
8. Set a rest timer (if required) by tapping on the 0:00 icon
9. Select the view to display by swiping right - left; in order it will display
- Velocity m/s
- Power w
- Distance cms (or ")
- Bar path
- Distance graph
10. Start lifting - To wake the device up simply nudge the bar so it detects slight movement, this will activate the device for 5 seconds before it goes back into standby mode to save battery. You can also enable a preparation timer you prefer a count down.
11. Rack the bar - if Auto timeout is set to ON, the set will automatically close and you will be taken to the RESULTS screen
From here you can:
- EDIT a set - remove reps, change weight or exercise
- Review LAST SET (only if more than one set completed)
- Perform the NEXT SET
- NEXT EXERCISE (Change the exercise)
- END SESSION
